For a person, a pet or a family keepsake
A clear portrait of one person or pet is the simplest starting point. For a grandparent, consider a mug they use daily or a print they can display. For a pet owner, think about whether they would prefer a portrait at home, on a bag or on clothing. If using a group photo, specify the one subject to illustrate. See pet portrait examples and photo advice.
Choose the artwork and product together
These gifts use a new AI-assisted illustration, rather than an unchanged photograph. Check the likeness before approving the design. A portrait with fine details needs enough room to stay readable; a simple subject often works better on a sticker or phone case. Check text at its actual print size and keep important features clear of edges and camera openings.
For a birthday, memorial or fixed delivery date
Choose a photo and wording the recipient will be comfortable with, especially for a memorial gift. A made-to-order gift needs production time as well as delivery time. Ask support before ordering for a fixed date. Checkout provides delivery options and costs for your address.
Photo gift questions
Is this a photo print or an AI portrait?
Rosie Gifts creates a new AI-assisted illustration from your photo. It is not an unchanged photographic print or a hand-painted commission. Check the likeness and the product preview before approving your gift.
Can I use a photo of a child or a pet?
Yes. Use a photo you have permission to upload, with parent or guardian permission for children. A clear individual portrait is easiest. If several subjects are present, specify the one person or pet to illustrate.
Which photo makes the best portrait?
Choose a sharp, well-lit photo with the face clearly visible. Avoid heavy filters, sunglasses, deep shadows and a tiny face in a distant scene. A different photo may work better if important features are missing.
Does the price include delivery?
Product prices include personalisation. Delivery is extra and is shown at checkout for your product and address before payment. Production and delivery both take time, so contact support before ordering for a fixed date.
Can I return a personalised gift?
Personalised items cannot normally be returned for a change of mind once production starts. Damaged, defective or incorrect items are covered by the published returns policy. Contact support with the order number and photographs if something is wrong.
